irish dancing

Watching it just makes me go 'wow' Just can't take my eyes off the dancers.

Wish i could do it for sure!

Anyone else agree?

I think it is wicked,I love riverdance. All my sisters, and and girl cousons do or did irish dancing, so i bin 2 alot of shows', and alot of it is boring, and the same thing over and over, but at the top level it is very impressiv.

I think they are awesome and I enjoy watching them for a dance or two but not for an entire show, if that makes sense.

Its a bit like being at an air show and watching the Red Arrows... they leave me spellbound every time but once I have seen them I am ready to see a different display?

My girls have bought me a collection of Riverdance dvds. They inform me they went out under the cover of darkness, exchanging used bills to a man driving a white transit parked at the back of Morrisons. No way on God's earth did they want any trace on their consumer history of Riverdance.

I find the clickety clickety jig soothing. It's...beautiful!

Being of irish descent i was forced to do it from 9 til 15. From 16 when i really discovered girls i went voluntarily. Still a legs n ass man to this day.

I did it from aged 4 til aged 16, a lot of preparation goes into everything you see, it looks very samey, but its hard work

It makes me laugh cos it reminds me of an Irish wedding I attended and the brides father who was a big builder type and was tanked up with the Guiness joined in with all these little girls who were concentrating hard on their steps next thing he has fallen through the table where the DJ has set up his gear and a fight then broke out.

So hard to do well and make it look effortless.

I danced for 13 years, very fortunate to have a natural beat and a damn good teacher. Between chipped bones and twisted ankles I made it to many championships around the world and my 15 min of fame dancing for the Queen and the IOC.

It can look a bit stompy and samey but it still brings me out in goosebumps watching irish dancing. I love seeing the little kiddies newly taught and at their 1st feis right up the my friend in Lord of the Dance. Its an amazing skill and wonderful to watch
