Ian Bell run out by the rules of the game?

How often do we see a footie ref HAVE to give a goal under the rules when maybe would suggets otherwise. Often corrected by the opposition letting them have a soft goal in return.

But how can you "undo" an out in cricket?

do then not have hawkeye and all those gismo's and gadgets for this series then... i know the indians have kicked up a fuss about using technology before....
