Wallow in it for about ten minutes then put it behind me if it's minor. If its a major disappointment like missing out on a dream job it might take a bit longer.

Disappointment is just another day around here. Success, now dealing with that would be a challenge.

Oh, have a cry in the corner, cup of coffee and pick myself up

This is more what I meant... I've had so many knock-backs lately on so many fronts its getting harder to pick myself back up all the time.

There and to the left a bit

Depends on the level of disappointment - something relatively minor or unimportant, just shrug and move on.

Something a bit deeper, wallow in my own misery for a while till I get my head round it (or ideally find someone I can talk it through with) then shrug and move on.

"How do you handle it?"

Always have a plan B in case plan A doesn't work out.

Disappointment in myself I tend to dwell on a bit, especially when I should know better. If it has impacted on others that's worse still. If I'm unable to rectify the situation that is a killer. I'll endeavour not to repeat also.

Disappointment in others, I tend to get it off my chest. I will give it careful consideration first because I've learnt stepping back can be helpful. I won't dwell on it or drag it out, I'd rather move on. I hate an atmosphere and want harmony to be restored as quickly as possible.

If we're talking about disappointment in Fab, it's a huge part of what Fab is all about I'm afraid. No point stressing, so I just move on

I deal with it with my good female friends.

We chat, we analyse, we berate, we give eachother confidence all whilst sinking some good Prosecco.

Maybe just for that night I'll feel on top of the world but at least some of that positivity stays with me

It's all about knowing your self worth. Self belief and setting the right expectations. Rejection or disappointments don't mould or make us who we are. Its what we do there after that defines us. You pause. Reflect. Assess and move on with a positive mindset.
