Recently told a lady in here I'm a fan of ladies with thier hair in bunches and while she didn't accuse me directly the word 'peado' was mentioned, not sure how I feel, the summary would probably be she's not into the same stuff as me..... thoughts anyone ?

It's just a hairstyle. I know older ladies who wear low pigtails, it's an easy way of keeping short hair in place.

at weekends my hair is often in plaited or plain pigtails simply because its easy to keep my hair out the way..

Ignore them. Some people are looking for things that aren't there or offended by everything

I wear pigtails at the gym sometimes because they are functional, I think anyone who says liking them is tantamount to being a paedo is a bit odd.

I'm 40 with long hair. I regularly wear mine in plaits or pigtails; it keeps it up neater than a single ponytail and is especially useful this time of year. I never had long enough hair to wear them when I was younger so the argument that they're a reversion to childhood is a specious one.

When you say bunches what exactly do you mean? I've not had my hair in two pigtails since the age of about 8 at a push,one ponytail at the back then yes all the time.

I find they are less harsh on my scalp than a pony tail. I hate my hair flapping around my face so it almost always tied up somehow.

Really? As above I do sometimes for the gym and have seen others wearing them out and about. Conversely I can't remember seeing any of our little un' s primary age classmates wearing them, it's all plaits and ponytails.

Before I cut my hair short again, I would often wear pigtails when I was out. Combined with my purple hair, I just thought they were cute.

Mainly though I used that style as they were functional in the gym and when doing OCR.

She was a dancer in her youth and has maintained a fabulous body, and dyes her hair blond.
