I could google but someone reliably tell me, does white wine go off? I have half a bottle that's been open for a week. Will it be disgusting and will I die?

Most probably yes LOL

Sorry joking honey. It might just give you a tummy upset if it's not been in the fridge and corked.

Yes it goes off with time, though a week it might not have if it's been in the fridge.

The first signs of offness tends to be it starting to turn to vinegar, and you can smell that

Hello, it may taste a little off but it will not cause any harm. Will you harm yourself after you drink it, is another question?

It can change taste as it oxygenates.

It can also grow mould but you'd see that floating on it.

If it smells like vinegar then it's off. If it smells like wine then your fine!

It'll go off eventually but it should keep for a week in the fridge

It's organic and will become contaminated with bacteria etc that will degrade it quickly

I'm convinced it does so if I open a bottle, I have to finish it on the same night.

It never tastes the same the next day.

A Costa caramel latte cooler works wonders for a hangover, or a skittles krushem from KFC x

I had to Google. Yes it does go off after being opened. But how quick depends on the quality.

But 'old' wine won't harm you in any way x

During the bottling process so2 is added to remove all oxygen, as well as the alcohol this kills bacteria/ prevents growth. Wine may get sediment or crystals form but will be ok to drink for years unopened.
