Terrible terrible story that im trying to raise awarness to . What the girl went through at them animals is disgusting and to top it off the hotel is still in business to this day and dealing with tourists . Was reports that past tourists have had many problems . Never in my life would i go there ..let alone for a gal to go alone !!

From what I can tell ......... she died. It was suicide. A white supremacist website added their own version to what happened...Facebook users picked it up, spread it. There's no evidence for it and it's still being looked into.

one of the best holidays I ever spent was in Egypt, albeit in Luxor, and although I intended to travel there alone I got chatting to another English woman at the airport who was going back to see her Egyptian husband, so she suggested I tag along with them and their Egyptian friends for the week...

I had a blast, was treated very well and probably saw a lot more of Egypt than I would have if I'd have stayed on my own...

Watch the footage on youtube !! It is an Egyptian cover up !! Simply watch the video call where shes being held capture and not allowed to say ! She was drugged ! Im Poland she was into nutrition and fitness . Poor gal lasted oneday there after trying to return .

Do you think this only happens in Egypt? Your issue should not be with the country but with the actions of those alleged to be involved. It happens everywhere so if you want to protect your daughter find ways of being involved in stopping all human trafficking.... Especially closer to home than Egypt.

don't you ever read actual news? their tourism has been destroyed for some time by the terrorist threat! one very suspect story,full of holes,speculation, and very short on facts is not going to make any difference to it now! maybe look at some UK news and you would find plenty to make you ashamed of being british! it's ridiculous to base an opinion on the actions of one incident!

i am saying, clearly, that any country has crimes that are shameful, but to say you are ashamed of a nation becasue of the crimes of some of its citizens is completely stupid...as it is completely stupid to say you never go somewhere because a particular crime has been committed there.

The Independent story is relatively balanced, and I think anyone reading it would see that a lot of the problem has been exaggerated by misinterpretation. I mean, the Polish press are also blaming the boyfriend, who wasn't even there!

Its one of those things that will never be satisfactorily proved. In the meantime, I doubt it will change any plans I had for visiting Egypt.

Well im chatting to friends on a personal basis and theres much intrest on boyfriend . Il give you a little insight ..did not attend funeral , passport ran out and didnt bother to renew , business partners in Egypt , no contact with him since death . I m not going ott looking into this to deep as this is like you say another countries intrest but i would like peopme to be aware of the resort and hotel . So on this note im signing out of this convo to lave the abuse and lefties to carry this thread on . Ta dar x
