East Sussex

My mum says "on the skunt" to mean crooked. That's not a commonly used word any longer.

"Not a word but a phrase. More and more I hear "can I get?" Instead of "may I have?"

It doesn't even make sense in the context in which its used.

"

The use of 'bring' where 'take' makes better sense is common.

"I would imagine rectum was an English word derived from Latin but above are surely pure Latin words, pater, mater etc "

Rectum is a Latin word. Latin and Ancient Greek are the origin languages of anatomy and medicine.

When referring to a particularly handsome guy, my mum would always use the word 'Dishy'

Usually that would be Sean Connery

Also, and I'm not sure if this was just a northern thing but 'belm' was a lie
