Why fab a picture but then just delete a message that is send? Am I missing something?

Perhaps they just like the picture. It doesn't mean they want to meet you.

Although it depends on what sort of message you sent them of course.

I get that and it was not a blunt message just askingn meet. I tried to put some humour and thought into and create an environment to have a chat and see how we felt about each other and where we fancied taking things

A fab is just an acknowledgment of liking a picture. Not an invitation to message for a meet.

They obviously didn't want to take things further.

Just assume that a fab is people letting you know they like your pic. If they wanted to meet, they'd message you too.

That's why most women don't fab pics, they don't want unsolicited messages. I fab loads of pics, doesn't mean I want to meet that person, it's just a compliment.

Ummm not like a number of single guys on here.. I know that this is not the green light to anything.. heck I might not actually like them once we start to chat.. who knows.. until we exchange messages and chat...

I think in the years I've been on here I've fabbed less than 10 pics, and that's friends, or from Fab challenges. Its a nice idea, but less nice in practice.

It's a personal thing and each person will look at it all differently which is fine.. I thought it was a bit odd at first but I see other people's sides

People use the site in lots of ways, we consider a fab as the lowest form of currency.

But in response to your question we have actually received winks and sometimes wink back only to receive a message, which told us the person wasn't what we were looking for, usually because they hadn't read our profile so we delete the message.

There are lots of reasons just learn from it and move on.
