Today's fantasy Heels Wheels is a red 1967 Triumph Spitfire Mk 3.

And still a Land Rover (yes, I meant Land Rover dear, not Range Rover).

Your car preference tends to lean toward those that need lots of maintenance or generally fall apart.

They only started using the name Defender in the 90's.

Before that is was a Land Rover...

So mine is a Land Rover 90...

Austin Healey 3000 or/and an Austin Westminster/Wolesley 6/110. A nice old Lagonda sports saloon would be a choice too.

I'll have a Landy, a 90 with truck cab or an earlier SWB 88, truck cab. I think just before S3 the headlights on the 2a moved into the wings, thats what id have, oh and with the standard bonnet, not that delux one with the rolled edge. And a Fairey overdrive. Ta Santa.

Mine is hopefully going to be with me in a week or so, a nice shiny new mustang. I'd never have another car costing silly money now, I had an Aston Martin vantage for a few years, and while nice it killed the magic of super cars. When they are posters on your wall they are something special, but after you own it, they become just another car .

I would love the engine for my 90, imagine how many boy racers you could upset with an old Land Rover that was nearly as quick as a Bugatti...
