Car on credit.

8,000 and 140 a month... mini roadster! Been approved but wondering whether it's worth it...! Currently driving a peagout which I hate! Had for 7 years!!!

If you can afford the payments then why not, life's too short for saving and making do with things you aren't happy with.

Question though, if you've got good credit could you see what the Apr is on the car finance vs a bank loan for 8k and buy the car outright with cash?

Also haggle, like I'd go in there with my phone and go on auto trader and search for exact same colour and spec and mileage and see who is selling it for the cheapest and tell the dealer (after being excited and showing interest in their car) tell them that you've found the same car somewhere else and show them the deal. See if they will notice match it.

Also make sure it is not one of these deals where you owe a chunk of cash at the end or where there is a mileage limitation.

Sounds like a 5 year payment plan or longer without doing the math in my head. Maybe pay a little more and pay it off quicker. The value reduces so much so aim to pay it off asap.
