...describe one of yours.

I've just had another most 'perfect day'

I spent time on the beach with youngest this morning throwing stones and walking dogs, had a visit to a friends this afternoon and we supervised four hilarious tots playing in the garden.

Returned home and cooked dinner with my younger son and his friends.

Later my own friend returned to my house with her son.

When they left and youngest went to bed I then spent a happy hour with my eldest son and his friends supping G&T's and swapping recipes.

Yep, happy days and a day in time encapsulated in my minds eye forever.

I may not be rich in monetary terms but I am a millionaire of memories.xxx

Not had it yet, im sure it would involve relaxed time with family,going to an event, a bit of self indulgent fav hobby and bumping into a lifelong friend.

Theres not a lot of surprises as you get older you kinda have to create your own i guess.

Each of my children have what I call 'golden moments'

Just an ordinary memory, not ones where I've beamed with pride through nativities and prize giving's or graduations.

But being with my daughter while she gave birth to my grandson.

Watching a sunrise with the eldest boy while drinking gin and listening to Nina Simone.

Watching the elder pass on fly fishing lessons I'd given him to the youngest.

Watching my youngest fly solo in the kitchen cooking a meal for us.

They leave the soul rich indeed.

Couldn't agree more my 5 children range from 3 to 18 so going through all those stages it's fantastic the best times ever

When my 18 year old decided he was joining the army scared for him and incredibly proud at the same time.

When i was told my 14 year old would get A's in his gcse's because he's such a bright spark.

My most proud moment was when my 18 year old told my 14 year old very self concious son "you have a brain use it i may be fit but i will never have what you have" now thats love.

I couldn't be prouder of my kids.

I've never been blessed with children, but I 'share' my best friends grown up son and daughter.

Included in all family occasions. The other day the daughter sent me an email which included a video of the son's almost 9 month old daughter walking. It was just the most wonderful thing I have seen in a long time

My perfect day is watching my 10 year old at her dance class

Seeing her grow from a little shy girl to on who holds the floor with confidence and skill

Makes me so proud that shes nowt like her dad in that way

My dancin resembles someone gettin a 10000 volt shock in a bathtub

Equalled only by me singing xx

I couldn't agree more.

+1 there is just things that money can never buy, i have so many memories of my daughters growing up, and have loved every moment of it. even through the trails and tribulations

The happiest day of my life didn't involve me directly, but it was my brother's, when he was involved in the "Passing-Out" Parade, for newly commissioned officers at RAF Cranwell.

A wonderful day, the sun shone brightly in a cloudless sky, the whole day's events went by in a flash, but it was all so well organised and one I will remember for a lifetime.

Best part, was seeing my Father, smartly suited, chest puffed out in pride, a broad smile, and tears of joy streaming down his face, as he watched my brother emerge at the end of the Parade, with his new rank!

You can't replicate that! Sheer family joy!
