Today it is the hottest june for 40 years, we have 29c, how about you?

They say we could get as high as 34c, how are you spending the day? I have just been out for a walk, nice and warm it is

Yes but we can remember 1976 when the water was turned off to save water and stand pipes put up in the streets.

The reservoirs up in Yorkshire were practically empty.

That was a long hot summer

Do you don't have to go back that far 2006 was a scorcher of a long hot summer.

Tiger won on a burnt brown course at royal Liverpool, never rained from may to august although if I remember correctly august was a wash out

Been out and had a dip in my pool this afternoon to cool off and it was so refreshing.

Might have another a little later on

Never been a fan of very hot weather
