I know I prob shouldn't go there but I'm bored as hell so I thought I'll start a new thread.

Everyone does this differently and there is no right or wrong way to go about this.

I am keen to know which way everyone does it.

Everyone has a different approach but I have found I have now changed my approach due to the wasting of time.....

So here it is the big question....

Which way around do you look at a profile???

The About you bit ,first or the pictures....

Oh I see you thought I meant something else ....

Dirty minded gits.

In all seriousness tho which way as if you look at the pictures and then the profile says " we don't do ...." have you wasted your time, as opposed to reading the profile and liking it and then seeing the pics and not liking them.....

If they have contacted me regarding meeting I look at their photos first, then if they can accommodate, then anything they have written on their profile and status.

Straight to the profile text for us. To see if there's anything that would make us incompatible, then to the photo's to see if we like the view

I always read a profile first. If what's there doesn't interest me then it doesn't really matter how hot they are...

Always start with the words, my interest isn't for everyone so I look to see if it's for them before I get excited by any visual stimulant!

I read the profile first..

If it interests me then I check their age range, the distance and if they are looking for similar to me...

Then I check the pics ...

If looking for someone to meet, I look at main text first, then their about me/looking for/interests then pics.

If I'm perving, pics only.

If being nosey about someone I've seen posting on the forum, depending on the post its either location first , to see if its worth getting the pitchfork out

or pics first if their profile pic catches my eye.

The profile pic, then if i can't really tell from that then I'll look at the other pics.

If i can then i read the profile then look at their public pictures.

your imagination

(1) Profile text:

a) Take a second to read their one line, then instantly forget the person and move on to next unread mail.

b) Chuckle and decide I like someone's humour and proceed to phase (2).

(2) Pics:

a) Bandage my wounded eyes and pray the damage isn't permanent.

b) Think 'hey, we have the same taste in bedlinen/decor' before realising that's really not a good enough reason to proceed.

c) Chuckle at the clever use of humour shown yet again and cut straight to phase (4)

d) Pick up my jaw, wonder why this adonis has mailed me, move straight to phase (3) to see if I'm being catfished.

(3) Veris:

a) Wonder why he mailed me when his preference seems to be for inarticulate bimbos.

b) Wonder why all his veris are profiles created in the past month and have also only been verified by each other.

c) Notice he's met someone I've had jealous/possessive mails from in the past and say 'aw hell no! no more drama please...'

d) Think how everyone sounds reasonably balanced and sane and has good things to say without giving overly graphic accounts of skill and anatomy.

(4) Reply:

a) Thank you for your interest, but you're not what I'm looking for.

b) You sound like fun.... Lets chat a bit and see if we have anything in common.

It honestly depends...if it's off the back of a fabbing thread or similar then straight to the pics without a glance at anything else.

If it's out of genuine interest in the profile then age criteria and looking for first, then either blurb or pictures depending on my mood at the time.

It depends. Chances are that either their profile avatar caught my eye or it was their comments on the forum. A profile can be a slog sometimes though, so a skim read can happen followed by pics or vice versa.

It depends on how I come across the profile. If it's as a result of a comment I'm not keen on on here, profile text. If I'm just being nosy or I'm curious about them in a good way, pictures first.

3. verification to see previous choices

4. if interested send and introduction email with face and other pics depending on what is requested.
