Can you remember what you were doing on the day?

We all spent the day in the pub then my friend fell down the steps and broke his neck

Yes and the food post reminded me, i was 15 and had runaway from home and was living on the streets in nottingham. The pub was open all day, but id been beaten so bad the night before i couldnt eat or drink anything for nearlt two weeks but wouldnt stay in the hospital.

I know what you mean: I've done that. Likewise, an earlier thread reminded me of a time when I had no money and was lonely...hadn't thought about it in years!

Was in car crash my friend was driving and he and my best mate died I survived and always have a little sniffle on their anniversary on the plus side the Sausages in the boot of the car survived for the BBQ so not a complete waste of life

I was a Tutor at an OU Summer School at Nottingham Uni - great fun. Every night there was a disco in a small sweaty room in the Hall of Residence I was staying in - lots of ancing and "Black Badge Groupies" - women who went after the Tutors! Even I got laid!
