3 or 4 year newer version of my current car (facelift) with the V8 engine.

Oh, and I wouldn't say no to the New Mustang either (especially after test driving it on Saturday)

Probably a Land Rover if I'm really honest, though I do flick flack into dribbling over a nice Z4 or possibly a TT. I think the next Heels Wheels will be a retro MX5. But I would like a Land Rover.

621bhp is achievable from the K20 engine

Would be great fun to drive!

Drove an Aston Martin DBS, a Ferrari 360 Spider and a Lamborghini Gallardo at a track day a few years ago.

Have to say the Aston was the most fun to drive, but if I looked out of my window every morning and saw an Aston Martin, I would always be wishing I drove a Lamborghini. I can't imagine looking at a Lamborghini and wishing it was an Aston Martin.

The Ferrari was awful by comparison to the other two.

A friend of the family has one of these and in my opinion, they are TOO MUCH.

I don't mean price, I mean they are too much 'Car'.

The brute power it has is frikking unbelievable, when he puts his foot down on the motorway, the entire front end of the thing lifts up, as in proper dips up, it's absolutely brutal.

the inside of it is just too much.

It's a lovely car don't me wrong, there is a just a lot of it.

Have you seen the price of these now!

A Friend used to own one and said they're completely insane to drive, think his had £20,000 spent on it in tuning though

"I'd keep my current Civic and have it tuned to over 600bhp

621bhp is achievable from the K20 engine

Would be great fun to drive!

I'd also get something ridiculous like a pagani "

All that oomph wasted through the front wheels lol.

And the label of "Ricer" lol

Except when rice stands for

Race

Inspi_ed

Cosmetic

Enhancements

There's a tuning company who's done two of these civics, one at the 621 and the other is around 450 I think. You'd be surprised with the launch control and all the extras..there's almost no wheel spin.

"It would have to be the Range Rover Sport SVR 5.0

A friend of the family has one of these and in my opinion, they are TOO MUCH.

I don't mean price, I mean they are too much 'Car'.

The brute power it has is frikking unbelievable, when he puts his foot down on the motorway, the entire front end of the thing lifts up, as in proper dips up, it's absolutely brutal.

the inside of it is just too much.

It's a lovely car don't me wrong, there is a just a lot of it.

..if that makes sense.

It's an amazing car for all the reasons you've said. Was considering the r8 or i8 but after testing the svr it ticks all the _oxes. Will be doing a few trips between Spain and UK in the coming months and this gives me space, comfort and power for the 2500m round trip"

Oh yeah, it would be awesome for that.

It's complete overkill for what he uses it for.

He uses it literally for between here and Poole which is about 20 miles each way.

Torn between old and new - I would love a split screen vw camper for lazy weekends, but I would also love a resto_ed mk1 astra gte to simply look at lovingly (owned 1 - looking at it looked a lot like throwing money into an open fire) new it would be a black range rover evoque for day to day and an audi r8 for the weekend.

Pretty sure him indoors wouldnt opt for any of the above!

No Rally was 2.0 litre. Pinto was after the the first run of 1500 of 2.0 then they become standard pinto ECT.

In 69 you could only get RS1600 (also known as Twincam) which was the BDA engine as fitted to Lotus Cortina .... exceptionally rare.

In 1970 the brought out Mexico (1600 crossflow) and later towards end of year the 2.0 (Pinto) engined RS2000. All three variants were built with "Type 49" AVO (Advanced Vehicle Operations" strengthened shells from Borehamwood.

The lotus twin cam engines as found in early escorts & cortinas were 8v.

The bda engines in mk1 & 2 escorts were 16v and cosworths not lotus
