Hello everyone,

So yesterday, i was on a second date, and when my date went to get the second round of drinks, an older man, wayyy older than her and I, grabbed her by the arm and started to flirt with her, just chatting but he wanted clearly more. She told him politely thank you but i'm on a date right now and she left to join the table we were on.

Later that evening, i got to the bathroom and i've seen the guy wasn't far and he was still looking at my date from time to time, so when i stood up i knew he would use this moment to chat with her.

I come back and there he is, on my sit chatting with my date and he even bought a drink to her!

I went really polite and told the guy : excuse me sir, this is my sit and i would like to get it back so i can keep enjoying the date with my lovely company.

Of course he stood up and went a bit away without any problem, do i have to say that he was maybe 5ft6, my date is 6ft and i'm 6ft8 ? I think y'all get what i mean.

But then he came back and asked her for a kiss even tho she was holding my arm, she declined it, thanks god she did.

I've gotta say that i went really patient on that one and played it cool, kept my blood cold, even tho i've to admit that i was really uncomfortable and felt disrespected.

And it keeps working on my mind even tho i know it shouldn't but fuck me this guy got lucky i wasn't in the mood to punch him hard, because then he would have needed a whole new face.

So yeah, how would you react if you're meeting/having a date with someone you fancy, obviously, and someone, Man or Woman, it doesnt matter, is clearly trying to chat/flirt with you meet/date ?

I've to say that when i came back from the toilet, i almost wanted to take my stuff on the table and leave without a word.

I need your opinions on that one, what would you have done, how would you have felt, etc..

There's a difference between finding someone attractive, which i have nothing agaisn't it, and flirting with someone who told you he/she's on a date when the date is like 1meters away, no ?

Or maybe it's just me, but to me there's a huuuuge difference.

Why would you leave without saying a word ... It wasn't your date that was encouraging him as you said she declined all his offers . Think you did the best thing , keep your cool ,as you don't wanna show your angry side to your date .... Only show that if he was completely being a knob head and was your last option to keep him away

Should have gone somewhere between the two options. I know it was only a first date, maybe told him in no unclear terms to clear off. Your date had already told him she wasn't interested, it wouldn't have been over possessive or anything.

hiding from cock pics.

I understand completely how you feel, and I feel that you did the best you could in a situation like that and kept yourself calm to enjoy the rest of your date.

Also it sounds like she behaved well too.

The only person who didn't with the 3rd person who should have known better and sounds very disrespectful.

Sometimes you get flirty old men in pubs, they are usually retired men who chat with everyone. If he wasn't one of those kind, and wasn't d*unk, I'd have been a bit more stern in telling him to leave me alone. I might have moved to a different bar area, and I wouldn't have accepted his drink. If he had sat down beside me I would have gotten up and told him to stop.

If he was d*unk, and there was security in the place, I'd have signalled one of them to remove him (I've done that before and they did).

Ok well thanks for your feedback, i feel better about it now.

And he wasn't really D*unk, maybe a bit tipsy, and i've to say that it's not an excuse, to me being D*unk/tipsy/old/single/desesperate to do what this guy did.

And MrandMrsRolePlay, would none of you two would feel like i did even after you told the person to politely back off and they keep being pushy/insisting ?

Isn't it a bit like on fab ? No means no ?

I wasn't thinking that single men being pushy was only a bad thing on fab :P

Probably fought he could take you if it came to a fight.

If it was me and some woman was flirting with my date I'd ask her if she wanted a straw, if she asked why I'd say cos you'll be eating all your meals through it if you don't fuck off.

Classic case of small man syndrome.

Saw a big guy and tried to steal your woman.

What a proper cunt.

Oh he probably Could have taken me, i got in fight with smaller but stronger men that knew what they were doing so yeah i wouldn't have underestimated him if anything like that was happening, but what i could have done to make things clearer, just thought about it, i could have taken him by the arm a bit away and tell him clearly that i'm not appreciating what he's doing, maybe he wouldn't have kept being pushy and annoying.

And for the free drink, my date told me that he sat down and he had the drink with him already, and she told me also : why should i not take the drink ? He wanted to offer me one, i took it and then told him to go enjoy his night. And she added : and it usually tastes better when it's free, which made me laugh ahah.

But after thinking, who knows he could have put pills or something in the drink :0 he didn't but he could have!

I'd communicate with the date, to find a joint plan and then execute it. A formal request to go away would be issued and repeated, then staff would be engaged.

No aggression or violence from our part, nor the giving of any further information to the intruder, other than that the unwanted person should leave.

How old are we talking? Old and frail or young enough that you can shove him and not look bad? If he was my age he would have gotten something between "fuck off" and a shove depending on my mood.

Well 1st off hat's off to you mate for staying cool & composed violence ain't always the answer.

In your position honestly cld say how wld have reacted am normally a very calm guy, can take banter, insults etc but disrespect or humiliation! Think he might have ended in intensive care lol

Unfortunately some blokes out there can't take a hint and think they can barge in regardless.

I had this years ago with a woman I was in a relationship with.

We'd been living together for a couple of years too.

We were at a pub I used to help out at with the DJing, and he was one of the doormen - so it wasn't like he didn't know what the score with.

One night, when we were in there with her parents, he handed her a note inviting her to meet for sex.
