Help with DVD player

I have an LG dvd player/recorder which was working just fine yesterday, today I put a different dvd in to watch with my granddaughter , it reads the disc,but wont play and now the drawer wont open, any ideas?

Apart from throwing it out the window!! lol

ours did this started to work again when it felt like it and when we asked someone who knows about theses things it was the reader that was starting to go sorry cant be anymore help xx

Can get a cheap one for under £20 from local supermarket they great had mine for years no problems with it.

was it a copied dvd or a diff region one? try the unplugging for a min suggested

When i tried to set mine up it wouldnt do anything for love or money, then hey presto had the brain wave of trying a new dvd in it and it worked

Have used the same dvd before without problem, tried unplugged without success and yes you can buy a cheap one for £20 but this ones a recordable one, not so cheap
