How many cold showers and bath soaks have you been having? Other things to get cooler? Soaked towels can help too but not a big fan - do use face clths.

Currently sat with a fan directly on me and had a lovely freezing cold shower first thing. Heavenly x

I had several in the night

Cooled off quite nicely being a little damp and with the fan blowing directly onto the bed

cold damp flannel over my eyes last night as they were really sore or on the back of the neck to cool down - feet in a bowl of water works as well but always make me want to pee

I like to get into a warm shower when it's hot out then gradually turn the temperature down until it's cold. Then I soak for a bit in a cold bath.

The best is to follow it up by going outside with wet hair and laying in the grass under the hot sun. The past few days have been glorious.

What's the matter with us British, we winge all winter about the shi-ite weather, spend a fortune to go on exotic holidays but when we finally get a bit of decent weather we go into melt down, pardon the pun.

Just took a cold-ish shower now. Lay on my bed with towels to dry off. I'm going to open the door to my freezer and stand in front of it for a while.

There's an avatar pic for someone for summer.
