I have lived in a tower block ....city living and have had my own country home both had their goods and bads.

The tower block was central to a city no driving no parking problems good lifts no garden to procure....the bad bit ?? no privacy noise etc.

The country living.......no problem at all except when your car went wrong.....total nightmare to get a mechanic out.

Between the two......country living every time hmmmmmmmmm.

Wrexham

I miss the black skies of rural living. Being able to look up and see the stars was a delight.

While Wrexham isn't even technically a city the light pollution is horrible and the stars are muted and dull.

I enjoy the proximity to things though and a mile walk to the train station is preferable to the 7 mile one previously!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Best of both worlds here: small village less than 30 mins walk from a medium city.

I live next to a University so no problem with that, although Deliveroo won't come this far out, even though they deliver to the campus. It's an outrage!!
