All the ones we have been to are all beautiful. Our preference is Corfu, been going for 13 years.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I don't like Crete any more - too many Russians. Rhodes is lovely, and I really liked Zakynthos (you can get an excursion to Kefalonia if you want to). Corfu is lovely but the weather can be weird.

Yes, we have. Found it a little more commercialised, but still beautiful.

We've been there. We now stay in San Stefanos, a small village. People are lovely too.

We loved Crete the first time, it was our honeymoon. But the second time was an odd experience.

For me the Greek Islands offer reasonable value but nothing you cant get in equal measure without a 4 hour plus flight....

I would never describe them as a must see destination .....

I suppose it would be skala p or Lassi. Captain correli's mandolin was made there, so it was very popular when we went in 2002, for our honeymoon.

Ha ha. A guy gave me some his father had made. I drank it to be polite but I struggled to keep each sip down

by the seaside

I lived in Argassi on Zakynthos (Zante) and would recommend the island highly especially the Laganas resort

We loved Zante too. Can't remember where we stayed. Is Laganas the 'young' people's resort, if so, it definitely wasn't there!

Yes, Laganas is kind of considered 18 to 30's town. Tsillivi, Kalamaki are Argassi are all good resorts too

My daughter hated Laganas, although after Ibiza she probably thought it was a bit tame.

Alykanas was my favourite bit, and the island is small enough to hire a car for a day to explore. The worlds largest Greek flag is there too.

I love the few Greek islands that Ive been to and my favourite is Crete. Chania is my favourite area and the beaches are fantastic. The beaches of Elafonisi and Balos beach are amazingly beautiful.

I have been to Kos, Zakynthos, which was nice and Corfu which was ok. Its all personal preference but I love Crete although spoiled somewhat by Malia.

Would be interested to know why if ax odd...

We've recently been to Crete and really enjoyed it.

The island is large and seems to offer something for everyone.

The locals we friendly and helpful. I suspect going out of peak season is a good idea.
