Film you watched after so long but never seen it before

I was wondering what to watch so I put Watchmen on on Netflix and I have to say it is a great film.

Also in 2006 I had just finished watching wwe raw and I found a video I had never watched it was Goodfellas I watched it then later the same day I watched it again now it is one of my all time favourite films.

So I was wondering if any of you have ever watched a film that you now really like but watched just to see what it was lol.

First I was made to sit through sound of music a few years ago, and wish I'd continued yo avoid it however when I sat through papillon under duress I was so pleased I had.
