As a single straight guy, I'm not looking for single men. But I don't see the need to filter out and block all single men from mailing me.

If you do block the same sex from mailing you, why?

I have done because I'm here to meet for sex and I only meet men. I'm not interested in making friends as I don't want people from fab in my everyday life. So I have no need to chat to those I don't want to meet for sex. Sometimes I feel more sociable and do remove filters.

I blocked single men as the amount of messages was getting ridiculous and some weren't taking no for an answer. But have left women, don't seem to get the same level of messages from bi women. Though have had a few offers of being "sorted" off a few. X

I know we live in the 21st century but men and women are still different and generally speaking I'd say women are more gregarious than men, look how quick women apparent become friends with each other on the Forum. I manage it differently I guess. I've no need to read delete and ignore as they're no longer there to be deleted. Win win and no irrelevant messages now.

And to user above who mentioned I'm missing out on guys messaging for 3some with their lady... i don't do mmf 3some, only ffm so again it's a filtering system that works for me.

Sometimes I do. That's why I said sometimes I filter out those I'm not interested in sexually. For me fab is a very compartmentalised part of a very busy and complex life. I have no desire for fab people to infiltrate my everyday life. None whatsoever. Even those I've been meeting for years. Yeah we get on socially and we chat but I'd never just meet them for a drink. I can see how for others its part of their social life but I prefer to keep mine separate. I don't think it's strange. Just I'm not single and have different people in my life for different things. Being real life friends with people from fab threatens the discretion that I value too much.

I don't have time to get caught up in conversations with people I'm not going to meet. It just seems pointless. I clearly have a different mindset to most that use the forum so don't think many would want a conversation with me anyway.

I rarely chat via message on Fab, as I originally joined to meet people. Any conversation with me via messaging is likely to be boring and short.

I have replied to some guys but virtually all emails are either sexual or a couple of words. It may seem harsh but if you want a reply then send something worth replying too.
