I know you would be if you use it as a sat nav. But could you survive without one?

Probably but I'd feel wildly out of touch with everyone as I live pretty far away from a lot of family and friends.

Besides, how would I check Fab on the go?

Survive for sure. I really would rather have it than not though. How quickly we become dependent on technology.

God yes I'd be lost without it. I have to be contactable at all times though that's a double edged sword x

Not a chance for hubby he'd be lost without his.

Mind you he often sets off without it leaving me to take all his calls.

Pain!

I downloaded an update that locked me out. I felt like Id lost a limb

However when I managed to let everyone know via fb that I was incommunicado, it was great. "If you need me I'll get back to you when I get home" became my mantra.

don't have one! honest (male)

and drives me insane seeing 95% of people on them every day - and never talking to each other. Call me old fashioned.

I recently broke my phone and came to realise just how much I depend on having one. Bit of an eye opener really.

I lost mine for 3 months after a presentation do thought I'd dropped it found it 3 months later tucked away in a jacket pocket that I'd checked twice but didn't miss it after a fortnight

Because my parents are very elderly and I frequently get calls from them if the other has had a fall or been taken ill I like to have my phone with me all the time. I even take it to bed.

Mine's on silent most of the time so I'd not miss it until I needed to do something with it

XX would be lost without her mobile.

Especially like you say for using sat nav, she's not ashamed to say her sense of direction is non existent

Could quite easily exist without my phone, as I still maintain everything in duplicate in a Diary.

I'd be far more upset if I lost my Diary.

I tried to go without one a couple of years ago after ma last one gave up the ghost, was quite happy (I use a pc for all ma internetty type stuff) until ma doctor threatened to stop ma prescriptions as I was uncontactable so I had to relent and get another one

Mine broke recently for almost 2 months. I was generally fine except when there was an urgent need for something - usually by someone else.

I'm not a phone junkie

only just got one back since last oct/nov and i've loved every min of not having one. i'm going back to work soon though so having one is a necessary evil to me now. i really really don't like the damned things.

I can survive without my phone, but prefer to have it.

I may not have a signal for few days soon... that is going to be a big test!
