BBW or BBW?

Throwing this out there for opinions!

Today I was chatting to a male from here, we were discussing what makes a lady a BBW.

In his opinion, a BBW must have big boobs & a big bum and that was pretty much it.

Now to me a BBW is a Big Beautiful Woman, big as in of the larger persuasion. Say a size 18 and above?

Now I stand at 5'9" and take size 20/22. I'd class myself as a BBW shape but seeing as I only have A cup boobs apparently I'm not!

I used to have D cup but over the years I've had many non cancerous tumours & cysts removed from both my breasts, never thought of surgery to get them back up to a D though.

I have a tummy that wobbles A LOT & I have a rather nice plump ass which I like!

According to this guy I should put curvy!

So my question is, what do you think a BBW is?

And should we even use it if we're not of a certain size?

Nice responses please

"

I firmly believe that the term BBW is nothing more than a way of fetishising the larger lady.

I don't even know what it's supposed to mean, and how people quantify what makes a BBW, a BBW.

I find myself drawn to more than a woman's vital statistics.

Describe yourself how you want. A label doesn't make a person. And your pics show you as you are. X

Bbw is just an unnecessary label. If a lady shows a selection of pictures it's pretty easy to see her body shape.

There are plenty of bigger women who are not beautiful and just as many beautiful women who are not big.

No offence to anyone intended, but I do prefer the larger ladies to describe themselves as larger rather then BBW as even I don't like the term to be honest but I do think everyone should have decent pictures that show all of them and not just a close up of a cleavage etc, or feet in a bath (you get my drift) as hard as it is for a female to get decent pics from a guy, I think some women do think they don't owe a guy to see exactly the same back.....just my opinion of course, if your expecting to get intimate please don't make an a situation more awkward than it should be

and me.

it's a porn term more than anything that applies to plus sized women.

I think porn adopted it rather than created the term.

I think it stems from the 90s when heroin chic and Photoshop was all the rage, media and magazines were just focused on promoting the slim body type as attractive.

I think the term bbw was just a reaction to that, saying bigger women were also beautiful.

I think people read too much into the term to be honest.

I think that original guy has it totally wrong though. Nothing to do with boobs and bums, just a plus size woman who you think is attractive.

If you spend as much time watching porn as most blokes, you would know that lots of BBWs don't have big breasts.

But mainly, ignore labels and enjoy being yourself

I might change it daily!

Today I was feeling fabulous

It's a lot to do with people's perceiving of others & the expectation I guess.

I try and do decent photos which show all of me, including my small boobies

BBW is a very broad term. If the woman involved likes it i think its nice to have something that only shows how much someone likes another person. Big Beautiful Woman. Theres no two ways about it, that phrase is a compliment. Providing as before that the woman involved is ok with it, if not then that is her desicion. But regardless a man calling a woman beautiful is a compliment. There isnt an exact image of a BBW to use with the term and thats why i like it. Its all about appreciating women and how beautiful/sexy they are regardless of their image.
