A lot of the reasons people give for losing respect sound to me one-dimensional and unforgiving at best, self-important and drama-inducing at worst. There are plenty of traits I don't like in people but above all I can acknowledge we are all different and fallible and we all have our faults. I think a more apt title might be "behaviours I won't forgive in someone". An irony to have acts of immaturity and selfishness listed so many times on this thread

I've been lied to, and quite badly. The one thing that hurt me the most was not what it was they had lied about. But the fact they never trusted that i would understand why they did it. I think that's what a lot of people don't get.

Rudeness, condescension, deception and aggression are generally things that put me off people in general.

I had the phrase "Manners cost nothing" taught to me from a young age, and if someone cannot take the time too treat others with basic respect i tend not too have time for them, life is too short too entertain duplicitous people or game players.
