flat rental and not hotel

I was just wondering if there would be people who would be more interested in renting a flat for half a day (either from morning, say 10 am til 6pm or from 7pm til 9 am instead of going to a hotel and paying somewhere around £50 for the half day. Not everyone likes using hotels and not just because of the cost and might find a private appartment more appropriate for meeting. I am thinking of setting up such an arrangement in the Hull area and was just looking for feedback to see if there is any interest.

I was thinking along the lines of a flat that is serviced by a maid, fully cleaned between time periods, clean linen, clean shower, very discrete location, parking, bookable on the internet.

no matter

Wont that cost a bit to deal with ? maid /cleaning/ rent would think it comes out around the same if you were to make a profit. someone was talking about day rate in hotels on another thread this last week.

I saw the thread on day rates and there are none in Hull and I was thinking of catering to people that don't like to use hotels or want a place in the mornings/lunchtimes (which are not always possible in a hotel. Prices for flats in Hull are pretty low too, thus making it economically viable. (I hope).

Sorry dont mean to poo poo your idea as it does sound great, just trying to advise tis all good luck tho if you do do it, we need more places in devon too lol

tbh couples can get into a swing club at quite resonable rates, and with the 9.99 deals often at travelodge and others,i dont think the market is there

hi just to give you a heads up if you decide to go ahead ,there was a subtle change to the 2003 sexual offencies act which states, which technically if you were unlucky or upset someone could have you classed as a brothel,it could be difficult to keep prostitution out in reality,ie they rent for an afternoon and have multi clients.

the recent change states:-

“It is an offence for a person to keep, or to manage, or act or assist in the management of, a brothel to which people resort for practices involving prostitution (whether or not also for other practices).”

Max penalty: six months or a fine in a magistrate's court, seven years in a crown court.

i would look into that a bit ,good luck on your venture if you go ahead tho

I was thinking along the lines of just providing a room to people who wanted to use one for whatever purposes they like. I suppose it could be hired by a hooker, but who is to know what the renter intends? I will certainly look into the ramifications, I was only thinking of couples or moresums wanting somewhere discrete for a bit of fun and no fees being charged.

You can rent an apartment for a night in Manchester (It's not cheap though)

which lots of swingers use for parties so why not for a few hours. If you run it as a business that is.

Problem is if you are having to pay a cleaner between and making it cheaper than it would be to have a hotel all night, would it be economically viable
