Many graveyards are historical, there are no fresh signs of mourning there. Some spiritually attuned people enjoy the vibe in graveyards churches and the like. And with anyone with a modicum of religion death is a portal to eternity.

I'll stick to basements and forests myself, may stretch to an ancient ruin or abandoned castle.
