Ive realised today that i simply have to much stuff.

Im thinking of downsizing next year and will have to get rid of at least half a house full.

Isnt it strange how we accumulate loads of STUFF and really....we dont need it.

Strange this is posted today! Been thinking about getting rid of all our accumulated crap for a while. Yesterday we checked out the Holcot car boot and Farmers market near Northampton. This place is massive, so we will be there next Saturday (yes Saturday!)

See you all there

Im a minimalist sort of guy. No clutter no mess everything in place.......On the other hand that might be wishful thinking on my part.

I'm in the process of having a 'life-laundry' ... way too much accumulated crap in my house right now. I'm making good use of Freecycle (great because people come and pick it up - saves you a trip to the tip), charity shops and will be hiring a skip in the next week or so. Maybe 2 skips ... BIG skips ...

Pah! I like clutter! I'm a hoarder! I like the look of other people's houses when they are all minimalist but then I come home to my cost flat with all it's stuff and I'm happy.

Ironically, this weekend, I started clearing out my house, in anticipation of selling up soon and moving on to pastures new.

I'd no idea how much junk I'd amassed; the wheelie bib is full ready for tomorrow's collection, and the local Hospice shops will be doing well.

when i was with my x we had 11 houses in 15yrs due to postings what with him being army , everytime we moved we chucked out any junk we had collected in that house and also had a rule that if we still had a box packed after 3 mths of moving then we didnt need the stuff . All went to pot when we got our own house never seen so much stuff
