I've been daydreaming of going to a gig recently - i can't remember the last one I was at - maybe Kings of Leon a couple of years ago.

Who's your favourite live act and post up your favourite song of theirs please

I saw Take That on Thursday. Currently can't get "Never Forget" out of my head or off my playlist

There and to the left a bit

Couldn't pick just one...having seen Madness 50+ times they would be the obvious choice (The Liberty Of Norton Folgate being my favourite song of theirs)...

....but Muse (New Born) and Biffy Clyro (Living Is A Problem..) have both excited me when I've seen them live

Black stone cherry - the rambler.

When I saw them last year this song had tears rolling and I wasn't crying coz I was sad, or a superfan or anything. You could just feel the emotion coming through.

Things my father said. That one had me too.

The Foos were bloody brilliant.

Couldn't possibly pick a favourite but the top 3 would be

Long road to ruin

My hero

Monkey wrench

Actually, I changed my mind on the Reef song to I've Got Something To Say. Bloody brilluant live!

Traffic land

Metallica were probably my favourite, but Limp Bizkit also put on a great show.

I first saw LB when I was pregnant with my son and I bought him tickets for his 12th Birthday, we saw them together last December

Metallica - The Day That Never Comes/Nothing Else Matters

Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff

I'm still trying to decide between The Manics, Foos, Leftfield, Smashing Pumpkins, Arctic Monkeys or Primal Scream

The Levellers are fantastic live too, seen them loads.

Meat Loaf was epic the first few times but unfortunately age and health aren't on his side these days.

I went to a Pixies gig once that was stopped about 2 tracks in because the stage barrier collapsed never seen them properly after that!

I've just remembered Lou Reed! I have a feeling this is going to keep happening.

I saw his Magic and Loss tour at Birmingham Symphony Hall in 1992, I was 17 and it was the first live performance I'd seen. This song still has a profound effect on me, probably more so with the losses I've personally experienced as I've got older

Its a shame, because in my eyes The Clash were a far better band live than they were on recordings. So much more power live.
