I have just realised it's been over 2 months since I last had sex :/

I've been busy/away most weekends so not really had much opertunities but also had plenty of time to make some and not done so.

Just not been bothered and hadn't realised how long it had been.

Anyone else get periods where they just don't think about/bother with sex?

Haven't even been waking either lol.

If you're off sex and sleeping a lot then something might be wrong. Have you got a lot of stress or pressure to deal with?

I can understand not having sex because you don't really fancy it but I can't understand having a battle with yourself to avoid it?

I decided to take a year out after a particular bad break up/life events and realisation that I was making pretty bad sexual choices.

Life got busy in that year (you can get such a lot done when you don't have to deal with engaging someone for sex) and the busyness meant I couldn't find anyone in the year after my planned year. Suddenly 14 years had gone by.

I still battle with my libido as bad sex is worse than no sex at all.

i really dont want this to sound, nor is it meant to be, patronising...but thats a few weeks..a few weeks! at your age i would have thought that was an issue...but really..it's not...and as said above no sex is better than crap sex...i had lot of crap sex in my 20's because i thought at least i was having sex. you always come across on here as a mature,articulate and humorous man..don't think a few weeks of no sex is an issue..especially if you're single..it really is'nt..wait for good sex not just any sex.

I've gone far longer (well over a year) but that was when I was ill.

It's not an issue as in "omg I need sex" more just I was surprised that's been been two months and my reaction is "oh yeah...should probably change that but I can't be arsed".

I've gone far longer (well over a year) but that was when I was ill.

It's not an issue as in "omg I need sex" more just I was surprised that's been been two months and my reaction is "oh yeah...should probably change that but I can't be arsed".

i don't see that as a problem...you've been busy, you have a life..and if you're single,i think more credit to you not just getting laid just to scratch an itch for want of a better term..you'll bump into someone on here, or out there that suddenly sparks something soon enough..

We're complex creatures and our sex drive is but a part of who we are. It's normal to have some variation and if we're busy and have other priorities, we can almost find it disappearing at times. If I go a week or so without then I become overly driven towards replenishment in most instances - but will also go longer without. If single then nobody else is left affected

I turn mine on and off now if there is no 'outlet' for it. I did find last week's hot weather and being naked outside gave me the raging horn. But I've switched it off again as sex isn't on the agenda at the moment.

It's a two way process. It's why I don't do quickies with unknowns one to one, and get accused of being a timewaster. I'll happily take the risk in a club situation but I'm fussier about more personal meets.

So libido now seems back with full force annoying just after my social life had gone from consisting of the playstation and a take away at weekends. Probably being busy every weekend till the end of august :/.

I am now conciousness aware I can feel my bollocks. Like a very mild blue balls sensation.

On the plus side got a new motorbike so a bit more mobile again. But no one is free during the day lol

The outcry of 'but there must be hundreds of men willing to sleep with you' starts, and guys who have offered and been turned down will sulk or turn nasty. I simply can't have sex with someone though simply to fulfil a biological need... I need a connection...
