Having watched a very expensive laptop inexorably going obsolete, over its 4 year lifespan, because nothing was upgradeable - I'd never have another one.

Everything home-based, is done on the desktop PC. Portable choice is a 12" tablet, tethered to phone hotspot.

My phone screen is pants, for just about anything web-related.
