I was talking to someone about this on Kik earlier.

I bet, in the history of Pampass Grass being associated with Swinging, there's not been one instance of anyone seeing Pampass Grass in someone's garden and thinking "I reckon they must be Swingers, I'll go up and knock on their door and see if they're up for it!!"

If not, then it's a pretty shit identifier for swingers isn't it!?

I know someone who had pampas grass in their front garden and was in the scene. I think it was planted before they moved in.

They've moved to another place. I don't know if they took a cutting/section as I haven't seen their garden yet.

I think mine may be the only garden in my area without pampas grass...

Wait though... Maybe you should only have it if you can accommodate??? What's the secret signal for swingers who can travel???

Haven't done that... But have had a spreader bar poke out of my luggage on a train... And an errant vibe bullet skitter across the table out of my handbag on the train too...

Different trains I might add... I like to traumatise people over several journeys

I think we need to move with the times and adopt a smaller grass that's more suited to today's shrunken garden sizes. Or not a grass but something more attractive

'Box' hedges?? with varying degrees of trim obviously to denote 'landscaping'.

I love watching one of my neighbours landscaping his box hedge.

I expect it's more to do with the fact it's huge and nasty, my folks had a massive clump in the front garden, it's sharp and remember cutting myself on it. To me its just one of those plants that screams 70s and 80s.

If I was this person's neighbour, is be fascinated by the reactions of onlookers, never mind him doing his landscaping!

That's hardly a secret signal from the roadside though... Maybe blue solar powered lamps alongside the driveway

Dwarf Pampas Grass only grows to about 5 feet.

I wondered if it was used by swinging dwarfs!
