I have a theory about why time seems to pass quicker as we get older.

When we are ten years old,a year feels like a very long time because one year is 10% of your lifetime,but when we are fifty years old a year is 2% of your lifetime,making it feel like it passes much quicker due to it being such a small percentage of your lifetime if that makes sense
