This is going to make me look real bad

Technology has made me extremely lazy when it comes to spelling

I now have difficulty writing out the follwing

Uneccesarily - can never decide whether the c comes first or the s and which is the double

Connessiur- actually spelt con...conner..connoisseur (actually had to cut and paste from Google as the spelling was so bad auto correct had no clue)

I also have trouble spelling words that have ie together like receipt or conscience. Seem to forget that I comes before e expect after c exception is weird i think.

Other difficult words that you cant spell?

I before E except after C

And when sounding like "aye" as in neighbour and weigh

And on weekends and holidays and all throughout May

And you'll always be wrong no matter what you say.

I find predictive text useless because if I've no idea how to spell a word in the first place it's of no help whatsoever. So in those cases I just pick the word that looks most likely or change my sentence to one that I know how to spell.

Silly but that's how I was taught to remember.

Sometimes though it's a losing battle, I'll always spell definitely wrong without google! Like how it always takes 2 attempts to plug a USB pen in; there's no way around it!

Nesserceraly. There you are op. That was my effort. It's not just you.

I've only just learnt how to spell recipe. But to spell it, I've had to pronounce it differently in my head (res eye p).

I'm dislexic. It's took me until the age of 40 to teach myself how to spell one word. Go me! .

I don't think It's lazy. I'm grateful for tech helping out.

Recipe...ah just one e whilst I'm grateful too at my age I think it's lazy as I only finished school a few years ago...its like everything went out the window and I didn't learn anything

for necessary I always say to myself; 'never eat Cakes eat Salmon Sandwiches'...

I do find it funny when people and company's spell professional with two f' s..

Trying to find another word can get me pretty tied up and ends up going further than just changing the one sentence

Reading this as a Scottish person doesn't work! "Aye" is pronounced "eye"!

a e i o and u are vowels.

In 'define' there is the vowel 'e' at the end and it is silent.

To change it to 'definite', we drop the silent 'e' before we add the suffix 'ite'

Now we have 'definite' we keep the 'e' at the end and simply add 'ly' for definitely.
