Leeds invasion my arse

Well I'm sorry to say that was a waste of time, including myself a grand total of 3 people turned up. This as been on the cards for 14 weeks and many a person said they would be there as it was a fun idea. Out of the total 3 one guy came all the way from Maidstone but yet local folks couldn't travel between 1 to 10 miles. But the 1's that did find each other we have had a good laugh and a pint or 2!!!

the OP picked the date...who wasnt actually there in the end...but to be fair, Leeds on a saturday afternoon would have been like looking for a needle in a haystack!!!

leeds was invaded by a small village in kent. No reistance was met and leeds has now become a suburb of Marden. I will of course be a good and kind ruler and henceforth all taxes and tithes will be payable to me. The onslaught continues with the small village in kent invading scotland this afternoon.

And i have a job too.

But a good time was had last night, how hard is it to find a hotel when you are sober enough to remember where it is but too d*unk to care.

Was also good to put a face to the bum private.

ok...my view...

the thread was up a few days ago, it was full of people who knew each other having in jokes...in no way did i assume it was for real.

The date, midweek on the last day of term for anyone with kids did not suggest any forethought or planning either.

After ifound a bit of hadrians wall I stormed the battlements but was beaten back by a savage army of warriors disguised as cows. So i changed my attack to housesteads fort, where the savages were disguised as sheep and were not as keen to chase me, errr put up a fight. So with leeds and scotland subjugated to a small kent village i am returning home. And bloody hell don't you lot speak funny up there.
