So I'm just out of one. Technically not an office relationship, as I generally work in a different building.

As I'm sitting at my laptop I just wondered if people have opinions on it?

I generally think it's a bad idea.

Been there done that!

It can be good, especially the perks of workin with your other half, but if it turns sour then it can be seriously hard! Even harder when you see them flirting an going out with someone else you work with

Bristol

I think its a bad idea tbh

Work and personal should kinda stay that way.

I also think in a relationship you need space and thats harder to achieve if you work and live together.

As a rule, I don't date:

a* People from work;

b* Friends of friends.

I am violating rule b at the moment though, so...

Never been an issue. There have been women I've been attracted to, but it's always the same old story - the good ones are always taken.

Central

I don't think they're a good idea or particularly healthy. It's better to have a relationship that's more open to the wider world imo

There are 4 relationships at my work at present that I know about.

Two are married with kids, one live together and have a child together and one is relatively new.

The new one is someone I went out with and his new girlfriend is jealous of me. I find it a bit stupid as I have no feelings towards him sexually but we were good friends and I feel she has spoilt that.

I blame him for being so weak and under the thumb.

Not a good idea in my book.

Compartmentalise your life, makes for less drama, nor is it healthy to be with someone 24/7.

Brighton - even Hove!

I shagged a woman from work once and then dropped her and guess what? A year later I was top of her "redundant" list. Don't go there. Don't mix business and pleasure.

Saying that, I have had my bum patted my a lady at work on occasion and had a lady touch my thigh in a meeting so I opened my legs wide. I'm a bit of a flirty mcgirty at work. But everyone knows what's what as I've been there quite a while.

brighton

Had a couple of unrequited crushes at work. Decided that it was probably best not to try again.

That said, some of my best (girl) friends now are ex workmates.
