Whats the first main news story you actually remember reading as a kid.

The one that gripped me was the black panther. I remember it vividly and i was 10.

Dont remember seeing or hearing news before then

There were a few news stories but the one I can remember vividly was the 7/7 London bombings. Had only just come back from my end of year school trip to Hastings when I was in year 6.
