On the Tuxedo Princess years on the tyne I once had to show a couple of snooker players to the restaurant as they got lost onboard. One was famous for the first televised 147 and the other couldnt play unless he had pints and pints of lager inside of him to steady his hand and tired to claim it on expenses. They bought me and my friends drinks. We were just in our 20's though and thought they were greasy old men!!

i wouldn't class them as 'famous' but i have seen more than 3 guys off tv and 1 guy who had a number of hits in the 80s in the sauna before now.

never played with 1, but neither would i disclose their identities.

am a firm believer in the fact that they have as much right to a private life as i do

George Michael came into the Sauna I used to use in Borehamwood in the early 80,s needless to say it was an all male only Sauna and lots of willys on show which he seemed to enjoy looking back at the time he had not yet come out....Still the slap he gave me on the bum seemed matey enough....

you could 'argue' the point of being 'celebrity' to anyone people class as one.. end of the day they are just doing their job. Just so happens to be high profile, successful and in the public image

I used to have a lot of dealings with a certain senior member of the royal family. Attended a few meetings with this person. I was invited to a function they were hosting, but sent my apologies as it clashed with my daughter's open evening.

I kept the invitation for years as people didn't believe I'd turn down the opportunity to hob knob: my parents put everyone ahead of us...my kids are second to none!

Yes but I got tired of the namedropping, which happens a lot in some circles. I hated hearing myself do it so I turned down many backstage passes. And sometimes it was me being recognised. It was dead handy when it was the police.
