A number of ringtones, contacts are tagged to different ones so we know who rings just by the sound. Non contacts just have a standard default ring tone that was already in the phone.

Yeah a lot of phones are starting to have this feature now. I found it always skipped on when I was listening to a good bit. At one point I was forgetting to answer my phone because I admiring my handy DJ work

Shame to say it was not my creating but another friend who DJ'ed at the time.
