Favourite songs from musicals...

I'm going through a bit of a Phantom phrase at the moment, so from that I particularly adore The Music Of The Night and All I Ask Of You, because I'm a big old softie

Other favourites include Old Deuteronomy from Cats and I Know Him So Well from Chess.

Every now and then I find myself randomly singing 'who will buy my sweet red roses' out of nowhere like some strange ear-worm that has never properly left me since I saw Oliver! about 5 years ago!

Very difficult question... however not counting any of the Beatles musical movies because they deserve a special recognition of their own

Pretty much most things by Julie Andrews and Barbara Streisand....

Everything written by the Proclaimers in Sunshine on Leith'.....

So dig the bones from that little bunch....

I always claim to not be a massive fan of musicals but realise I do sing tunes from them quite a bit. Secret Love from Calamity Jane is my perennial favourite but recently I've been busting out Helpless, Satisfied, Say No to This, Burn and Dear Theodosia from Hamilton.

West Wales and Cardiff

I've been lucky to play most of the major musicals (at an amateur level - some excellent, some exceedingly amateur!).

For me, West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof are the best, so it'd be:

Maria and Tonight from WWS

Sabbath Prayer from FOTR

Also love Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific
