to read forum posts seems to be with 'Clickbait'.

Why are there so many 'Clickbait' posts appearing, have people run out of things to say?

Clickbait (Used widely by Facebook adverts and newspaper websites) is the practice of a short sentence which gives very little information but is used to mislead people to click on a link, for example this post.

I just seem to be seeing more clickbait and less actually posts with a purpose or question

Click bait is anything with a title designed to lure you in, regardless of the actual content. Could be on here or on Youtube etc
