..

So i gained 10.5 lb this week at Slimming World.

Ive faced the gain, enjoy the week of shit food and birthday cake (wasn't even my birthday lol) and now drawn up a meal plan and done a food shop.

Got my new Fitbit Charge2 on order to get me back on track with gym work/exercise and hopefully will have a blinder of a week.

Easy to put on but gotta work so hard to claw the damage back.

I WILL NOT BE BEATEN!

Damn right! Embrace the setback as just that...a temporary setback.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Its not your period is it? I always noticed a huge gain just before my period, which then disappeared afterwards.

Slips happen during any weight loss regime - it happens to me frequently when I'm on a 'losing weight' cycle!

The important thing is to get back on the horse and carry on what you doing before!

Don't beat yourself up about it - just wipe the slate clean and start from where you were a couple of weeks ago!

You'll get there! Keep smiling!

Id love to say yes.. but i dont have periods (lucky bitch that i am)..

I wouldnt have a clue when my body's cycle is.. could be water retention.

The weather down here has been crazily warm and probs not drank enough water.

Ive just had 6 days off from work (just the way the rota went) and i burn 3500 calories each shift.

Loads of possible little things but ultimately i had a chinese and ate bits n bobs that shouldnt have.

Id love to get rid of all that in 3 weeks time. x

Fitbit's and similar devices are a great motivator to get moving more, and you have the right attitude, so you're already most of the way there!

Keep going gorgeous and good luck!

You gained 10 pounds in 7 days? Are you sure? How is that possible?

The main thing is that you knew there was a blip coming. Have identified it, owned it, and are now kicking it in the ass.

Youll kick it off in those 3 weeks.

It's not, but weightloss isn't linear so the OP has probably just had a spike, and will be back on her losing streak next week.

I've always been told not to refer to it as 'losing' weight because it indicates it can be found again. Instead, it's been suggested using the term 'shedding' weight, 'leaving the weight behind' or 'getting rid of it'.

Keep going you're doing amazing xx

Channel how annoyed you feel with yourself into the energy to get you going again. My weight varies week on week but the overal trend is still going down. In the end that's what matters. I have good weeks , so so weeks, and bad weeks. It's the nature of life - things vary. Keep doing more of the right things than the wrong things and you'll get there

Might even be water weight. Hormones can influence that.

That's really good, and the most impressive part is that you're sustaining the effort!

21 weeks of work, bloody good effort!
