"What is a swinger? Can you define it? I know if I like someone enough, I want to enjoy everything with them. Conversation, experiences and evidently- sex. If that's what a swinger is, I've always known since a teenager. " Misterbee- what I mean is not wanting to be monogamous to fit the social trend, to enjoy sex with more than one person, sometimes at the same time? Less constrained by society I guess?

"Just a young 34 year old Single for over a month... bored in work one day... horny ... knew about fab for years ... so thought sure why not ... don't want to date... " Perfect solution then. Enjoy

If someone is monogamous, and only wants one person at a time, they're constraint by society, rather than making their own choices?

"Mid to late 30s before I ever met another couple, and that was just to watch ... I'm a late entrant to the scene!! " ooh Dan to watch? Always wanted to do that as love being watched myself. How did you arrange that as a relative newbie to the scene?

Some people aren't monogamous to fit the social trend but that's straying off topic... Hubby told me he wanted to open our relationship just over a year ago. I'd always considered myself monogamous and wouldn't have been interested in anything other than monogamy if it'd come up when we were dating. But I agreed to give it a go and we're taking baby steps. Neither of us have had sex with anyone else as yet but I have had some kinky play with another woman. Still finding my feet and my comfort zone.

How did you arrange that as a relative newbie to the scene?" It was reasonably straight forward to be honest! Almost too easy really! I saw an ad from a reasonably local couple who wanted someone to take pics of them having sex on another famous swinging site, so I dropped them a note got talking to them and in a few weeks was watching them fucking in their own bedroom while the kids were at school! If only it was that easy to get meets generally!

Simple answer. I've always been a swinger then. I've always felt the need to do my own thing with people who think the same. If it's alternative, I'm probably likely to enjoy it.

Yep, because one day (with another couple) I was on another voyeur meet until they (unexpectedly) asked me to join in .. the rest is history!

Well yes, but I don't subscribe to the view that all monogamous people are secretly wanting to be swingers but are too constrained by society to do so. I'm not saying that's your view, but some swingers have the view that all vanilla people are idiots too weak to go against the herd. But as queenpenelope said, I'm going off topic.

" I think we are saying same things, just in different ways? I don't believe that people in monotonous are always vanilla or always wanting to cheat. I was merely asking when did you realise you didn't fit with this stereotype and you were a swinger at heart?

"I'm not a 'proper' swinger and the answer is 42. I suppose it must have been my midlife crisis. " Why are you not a proper swinger? What makes you not a proper swinger? Genuinely interested
