Brighton - even Hove!

It's fucking huge! I've been on google earth and strolling along in Perth, thanks to street view and I'm surprised at how big the country is. Daft, I know but there we go.

You can fit the whole of the UK into the pointy bit at the top of Queensland. And the whole of Europe would fit comfortably into Australia with loads of spare space still left over!

It is huge! It's also my favourite place in the world, been loads of times and it's amazing and diverse!

It's a long way to go to find your expectations are met ,,,,, I found no part of it remarkable and struggled with the inherently insular culture that comes with a population who rarely travels out of their own are owing to the vast distance between the larger conurbations.....

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I prefer New Zealand but I did do the best thing ever in Australia. I went to Phillip Island and sat on the beach at dusk in night vision goggles as the penguins walked home next to me and over me.
