17 threads within 4 days and that's just how far your green arrow goes back. I don't know if there's a limit but could be done for spamming if the threads are all the same and not starting a new one cos the original is full but just for the sake of starting another thread.

Getting everyone chatting is a good thing, but the encouragement to do it via pm all of the time defeats the object of a forum where everyone chats to each other anyway.

Try not to take it too personally- just see it as feedback. Your enthusiasm is admirable just adjust your approach to temper it. I got burnt a few times in my early days on the forum being a bit over-enthusiastic and overly 'helpful'. It did sting a bit but when I came out of hiding again I changed my approach. I still get times when I get a bit carried away with an idea (pics being my latest lesson) but we just get a little wiser with the feedback.

Hope to see you back to your chipper self soon.

Handsonjohn, if you are really intent on being supportive to the OP and not (as it *could* be interpreted) simply using the opportunity to air your obvious animosity to certain posters then perhaps there's a more positive way of suggesting he feels comfortable continuing to do what he'd like and not take personally anyone that is less keen on it (I'm not going to say anyone rude to him as I don't see anyone doing other than letting him no their opinion on his threads, as asked, which is not personal). I'm observing here that it's you that seems angry and keen to attack "others" which you say is because you've interpreted that this what the OP needs, wants etc. Ask the question of him by all means, but don't load your interpretation which could put words in the OP's mouth that aren't there. Certainly don't m, if he hasn't answered you, then attack the evil others that you have perceived there to be unless you'd like to come across as the one with an agenda.

really i could point out a few thinly negative snide comments in here with ease. he started the post with a avatar picture he removed it after a few posts why....? because no one said a kind word for the first five or six posts.

if you can not see when someone needs a pick me up then i pity the people such people interact with in the real world because lack of empathy is a very very unattractive personality trait in my opinion .

So he removed is avatar so what? How old is he 14? He asked the question and didnt like the answers,what did he expect,iv seen far more vitriol knocking around in other threads than there has been in this thread
