Im after some advice please.

Last year I got quite heated with someone and feelings developed. We both had them and it got scary for a while. Anyway, long story short, it couldn't happen so it ended.

I still message the person every now and again just to catch up but every time it gets a bit more icy and bitter.

Did I actually do anything wrong? Soppy sod that I am followed my heart somewhere I couldn't go. Yes. That was wrong but stopping something that could never work, was that wrong?

Brighton - even Hove!

You didn't stop it entirely......I'd send one final message saying thanks for the memories etc and then forget and block.

Forget any chance of future fun? Even just physical? We were very good for each other physically

I see your point though

It sounds like you're being selfish. Leave her alone.

I have an ex-"friend" just like you.

If it gets more icy and bitter each time why would you put yourself or her through that? Move on, its best for you both.

It's a difficult one op. Thb as hard as it is I'd recommend blocking and forgetting. Hard in the short term but in the long term it's for the best. Your memories will be left in tact and nice ones that way. It's better to of loved and lost then not to of loved at all.

It's not just physical though, is it? 'Feelings' and it starting to be bitter. Who needs that? I don't think it's a good thing although of course you have to balance any possibility of sex against any angst.

Yes, you did do something wrong. You led someone on knowing you weren't free to take it further.

Pretty cruel and selfish I'd say. No wonder she is 'icy and bitter'.

Make the break and let the poor woman heal rather than scratching that itch by opening the wound again each time.
