now upped to critical level. the world is now one fucked up place. that poor little girls face is all i can see all day. so many lives taken and people out enjoying themselves for the night. all people can do in my view is live your life to the full everyday as these assholes want people to stop, be nervous and hide away. it's so nice to see how everybody comes together though.

Dr Judith (daughter number 2) is working in one of the Manchester hospitals. Reckons the total number of injured has been underestimated.

Can't let the bastards win.

Tragic events like this, wherever it is, will bring communities together & prove just how resilient we are. If we stop living our lives then they will have won.

I just can't begin to imagine the pain that parents & loved ones must be feeling, for those lives that have already been lost, but also not knowing if their child or relative is still alive.

My heart bleeds for all of the innocent victims, as young as primary school age, their lives taken in such a cruel way. Gratitude too, knowing that all emergency services showed just how skilled & professional they are in major incidents, staff going back into work to help etc.

I guess the only comfort family will have,is knowing everything would have been done to save those lives, & they didn't die alone

The families will never know comfort again. Their tears will flow like rivers in the night for the rest of their lives.

We should rage less at the pound shop terrorist with hate in their hearts...and respect more those innocents and their families their hurt loss and devastation.

Evil will never prevail...

Love conquers all

The news were extremely keen on stopping it getting out. The Yanks had more info than the BBC...wonder why?

Innocent people have been getting blown to bits all over the world for a very long time .

often in the name of religion...

we get involved in other counties bushiness.. its hardly surprising that theres retaliation..what is surprising is that it happens so rarely..shame the political parties decided it was gonna let it stop normal election business.. i thought the whole point was to carry on as normal and not let it effect our way of life ..

Sadly raising the threat categorisation to critical will not reduce the motivation of those determinedly intent on causing atrocities, but it will help society and the emergency services get ready to deal with the aftermath....

"Dr Judith (daughter number 2) is working in one of the Manchester hospitals. Reckons the total number of injured has been underestimated."

Dr. Judith should not be commenting and you should not be repeating her ill-advised comments. Comments like that can lead to GMC appearances.

Given your age and that she she daughter no. 2, I assume that she is a very junior, junior doctor, working in one department of one hospital.

The injured are spread around at least 7 hospitals, encompassing different NHS hospital trusts. She will not be party to the facts.

Unfortunately by giving them all this publicity, we are playing into their hands. Promoting racial hatred, making it easier for them to recruit and justify their cause.

When the IRA were in full swing, we refused them any publicity, not promote anti Catholic behaviour.
