i think your pics should try to appeal to who you want to attract but mostly be based on how you want to represent yourself.

The beauty of this site is that you can show whatever you like within legal reason and provided you're in the shot. I happen to show whatever I fancy apart from my face or distinguishing marks. Which is a shame since my tattoos are pretty and I like my face but the rest of me will have to do. As to nude/suggestive I've done both. I don't normally have a fanny out shot public and there isn't a lot of nipple on my profile but that doesn't mean I don't think they're worth showing; more that they get attention I am not looking for.

i think the forums are deeper than the rest of the site, in that here you can choose to interact with others and communicate with them, so the forums appeals more to people like that.

the rest of the site isn't like that, it's basically 'online shopping' and if you like the look of someone you can message them or you can fab their pics (or both). this is more objectifying and appeals to people who objectify themselves as well as those others who objectify them. and what is more sexually objectifying than genitals?

I tend to agree on attracting the attention I'm not seeking. I'm happy to show my face but only very few would recognise me without my feminine face mask.

agreed. this place is shallow overall but you're more likely to find the cerebrally inclined in the forums than the somatic. i think so anyway. and they're the ones who will voice they're not keen on cock shots or explicit pics as for them it's all about using their own imagination, as you've found in this topic.

there will be other stuff i've not thought about also but i reckon that's the gist of it.

I have a reasonable amount of myself on display but I only ever put up photos that *I* like ... they're certainly not a reaction to what others may think I should show or not! As someone with a lifelong aversion to the camera, and low self esteem, creating pictures for Fab and managing to come up with a few I'm happy with has actually been something of a revelation. I don't care that much if other people like them or not - though obviously it's nice to get compliments - my photos are for me.

And that's the approach everyone should take in my opinion - your photos should be a reflection of the image you want to convey and feel comfortable with.

I don't want to imagine what my next sexual partner may look like. I want to know. I'd rather not waste time meeting someone only to find we aren't a good match physically. I don't like disappointment and I never have been. Teasing and leaving to the imagination isn't the only way.
