Between the ages of 13 and 15 I was all about the Ramones, Rocky Horror and Stephen King. My love of David Bowie, James Herbert and Richard Laymon kicked in at about 16.

There and to the left a bit

As a teen musically it was all about Two Tone, punk, new wave, the mod revival...films wise war/action films mainly with stuff like Monty Python/Airplane/Blazing Saddles thrown in...books I used to read a lot back then but struggling to think what..probably Alistair Maclean/Jack Higgins/Clive Cussler type stuff

Books? Well I grew up with Harry Potter. And LOTR. And The Silmarillion.

Music wise - I was a massive emo for my sins. So My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, PATD, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore...

And then I grew up

Manchester

Yet another for billy idol

'Hot in the city' was the first single I bought, my mum bought me 'more vital idol' LP on vinyl a few months later for my birthday. Still got the album.

Also loved... EMF, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, ninja films, young guns... had an unhealthy fascination with violence and real life criminals so would love reading books about the krays and billy the kid.
