"It's a strange one I know but apparently is becoming more common, but not going by this thread " There's a lot of crying going on tonight, and not just from the Arsenal fans. Bump it on a week day and you might get more responses.

"I would definately ask for a referral to see a neurologist as there are a number of causes for the symptoms you describe--- to speculate would potentially only cause you to worry. Good luck x" I know but I have never pressed the issue to be honest as the body shakes has been the only issue and I know it sounds stupid now but I didn't want to waste NHS money So I will see how tomorrow goes, but I'm not expecting much tbh x

"I would ask to be referred to another neurologist for a new or second option, and just keep on trying to fine a diagnosis ...Our son has a neurological condition which is rare they say, he now requires 24 hr care, not like your symptoms, but we think they only see him on most occasions to build up a reference library of symptoms and potential medicines to limit those symptoms ...in other words a guinea pig... try this try that...but we all start somewhere, we hope you find what your looking for and a way of limiting your symptoms xxxxx" I know that feeling as my docs only took an interest when I said my sister had recently been diagnosed with ME but gabapentin is working ish for now x

" Like I said, I've had it for over 10 years, and I have only just followed through with it and gabapentin has really helped me and has improved my hand writing a lot! please don't ignore it like I did! If a top neurologist is showing a interest, grab it with both hands!
